Why support CoIPL?
CoIPL provides educational multimedia presentations, workshops and conferences to support to Colorado’s faith communities in learning about and addressing the problem of climate change.  We talk about what can be done to address the problem, and we engage in advocacy work to achieve useful state or nationwide policies.  We seek to serve congregations of any religion, believing that all religions teach that we have a responsibility to care for the planet in a way that will support not only all people currently on earth, but future generations as well.

Our work is funded mainly by donations from individuals and congregations.  Grants and fees for services are a small part our financial picture.   The more we have in our general fund, the more services we can provide to promote sustainability in congregations throughout Colorado.   Please make a generous tax deductible donation!  Donations made now through the end of 2013 will be matched dollar for dollar by a matching grant from the national Interfaith Power and Light organization up to a limit of $14,000.

Online donations to CoIPL are processed through Colorado’s Giving First program.  No processing or credit card fees are taken out–we receive 100% of your donation.  We have a fundraising  (campaign) page on the Colorado Gives site.  When you click on Donate on that page, you will be taken to the page of our fiscal sponsor, the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center, to enter your donation information.  Rest assured that when you to go the Giving First site by clicking on a link on our website, your donation will be fully credited to us.  To make it even more certain, you can put a “For CoIPL” note in the instructions box of the donation page.  To find us directly through www.givingfirst.org, type www.givingfirst.org/coipl.  Click here to go directly to CoIPL’s fundraising (campaign) page on Giving First’s website.  You can make a one-time donation or a recurring donation.  For many of us, a monthly donation is the way we prefer to give.
